How to check a social media carousel
Choose two or more JPG, PNG or WebP images. GYROX reviews each slide in your browser and checks dimensions, aspect ratios, file sizes and consistency. Choose a recommended layout or match the first slide, then follow the specific suggestions to prepare a more consistent carousel.
What does the Carousel Quality Checker measure?
The tool checks whether slides share the selected aspect ratio, whether the images reach a helpful resolution threshold, and whether file formats and pixel sizes differ. It can highlight unusually large files and possible duplicate selections. The score is a technical preparation guide, not a prediction of reach, engagement or image aesthetics.
Choose your carousel size
Common creative layouts include square 1:1 (1080 x 1080), portrait 4:5 (1080 x 1350), portrait 3:4 (1080 x 1440) and landscape 1.91:1 (1080 x 566). These are useful design targets, not a guarantee that any social platform will accept every file. Platform specifications may change.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded to GYROX?
No. Image decoding and technical checks run in your web browser. The tool does not upload your selected files to the GYROX server.
Does the tool improve low-quality images automatically?
No. The checker identifies measurable issues and suggests fixes; it does not edit the images. To resize or crop a slide, try our free Social Media Image Resizer.
Can I check a 20-slide carousel?
Yes. You can review 2–20 files, up to 25 MB per image and 160 MB combined, subject to your browser and device memory.
How do I save the findings?
Select “Download CSV quality report” to save a list of slide dimensions, scores, warnings and suggested fixes in a spreadsheet-compatible file.
